She has been in the healthcare field since the late 1980’s and in the sleep field since the early 1990’s when she discovered that Sleep Medicine was her passion and calling. She has worked many positions from acquisition tech to lab manager. Lisa won the The American Association Of Sleep Technologist's (AAST) Sharon A Keenan award for outstanding contributions to sleep technology education and won the AAST Service Award for making significant contributions to the growth and development of the sleep technology profession. She has severed in various committees for the AAST and continues to do so. She has also contributed to both the text book and work book for Fundamentals of Sleep Technology.
As a sleep apnea patient Lisa brings a unique perspective to the sleep field and to helping patients be successful with their therapy.
